Each employee receives a number of meal vouchers worth €7 for each working day (both on-site and remote) on a monthly basis. The number of working days is indicated on the payslip and is calculated by deducting sick leave and vacation days. For all employees (except for executives, known as “quadri” in Italian), the number of meal vouchers is capped at a maximum of 20 per month.

Who is entitled to meal vouchers? All EMP1 employees of Agile Lab with fixed-term or permanent contracts are entitled to receive meal vouchers.

When do I receive the meal vouchers? Based on the deferred calendar, each month the employee will receive a number of vouchers equal to the working days of the previous month, on the date the payslip is issued.

How to obtain the restaurant card? Agile Lab will request the supplier to send the restaurant card to the address provided during the hiring process for each employee. Delivery times may vary depending on several factors such as distance and time of year.

What to do if the card is not received? Each employee can notify Agile Lab, specifically the People Care/Welfare, Benefits and Operations Manager, of the non-receipt. They will request a new shipment.

Voucher expiration: Vouchers issued from 01/01 to 31/08 will expire on 31/12 of the current year. Vouchers issued from 01/09 to 31/12 will expire on 31/12 of the following year.

Meal voucher renewal: The renewal procedure requires that, following the expiry of the vouchers, i.e. from 1 January to 31 January, employees can request the renewal of the vouchers via the portal by logging in with their credentials and following these steps:

  • Click on View Details on the login screen
  • The Card Movements screen will open, displaying a symbol indicating the presence of expired vouchers. Clicking on this symbol will take you to the dedicated table.
  • In the table, you can view all expired vouchers and request their renewal by clicking on Renew Expiry Date.

The renewal will not be immediate, but the request will be forwarded to the personnel office, which will authorise the renewal in the following month.

Card activation: Meal vouchers can be used directly through the supplier’s app “Welfare Pellegrini”.

Simply download the app to your device, register, and proceed with “Activate card” by entering the card number.

Where can I use the card? Welfare Pellegrini meal vouchers can be used in a wide network of over 100,000 affiliated establishments throughout Italy, including restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and grocery stores.

Affiliated establishments can be viewed in the “Find Location” section within the app.

From the same app, it is possible to check, for each establishment, whether payment is enabled via card, via app, or if only one of the two methods is accepted.
