Project Lead Accountabilities
Purpose
Ensure successful delivery of customer projects by integrating execution excellence, technical alignment, customer satisfaction, and team effectiveness in coherence with company standards and governance.
Accountabilities
Delivery & Execution
- Plan, track and steer project delivery according to defined processes and standards.
- Establish and maintain a clear project organization for both team and customer.
- Manage customer requirements, ensuring traceability and expectation alignment.
- Identify, estimate and manage change requests.
- Monitor project budget and remaining effort; escalate coverage risks in advance.
- Ensure high-quality project documentation.
- Aggregate and monitor delivery and quality metrics.
- Guarantee overall project quality in alignment with Eng Office
- Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
- Notify relevant stakeholders about the start of new projects.
- Propose activation of a dedicated Project Circle when complexity requires it.
Customer & Stakeholder Alignment
- Facilitate structured communication between team and customer.
- Monitor and nurture customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer expectations transparently.
- Align multi-practice initiatives with relevant Practice Unit Lead Links.
- Keep Lead Link, Eng Office and project documentation continuously aligned with project evolution.
Technical & Compliance Governance
- Validate adoption of new technologies and libraries with Engineering Office.
- Ensure alignment with architectural guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep privacy, compliance, and regulatory aspects under control in solution design.
- Escalate technical deviations and structural risks.
Team Effectiveness & Development
- Foster team productivity by removing impediments and facilitating collaboration.
- Promote and apply continuous improvement practices.
- Coach team members and address tech mentorship to Practice Units
- Care for team members’ professional growth according to company best practices.
- Encourage technical and professional progression.
- Mentor team members on promotion dossier preparation.
- Detect skill gaps and capacity needs.
- Coordinate training needs with Training, Eng Director and Lead Link.
- Support onboarding of new team members (operational enablement and context sharing).
- Promote sustainable workload management, including vacation planning.
- Validate monthly team timesheets.
Knowledge & Organizational Contribution
- Ensure creation and maintenance of a project knowledge base.
- Enable reuse of knowledge for onboarding, training, and sales activities.
- Share documentation of emerging effective practices with Circle, BU, or Engineering Office.
- Contribute to strengthening delivery standards across the organization.
